Wholesale Return & Exchange Policy
Return Policy Guidelines
- All wholesale returns or exchanges must be authorized in advance. To request authorization, please contact your sales representative directly or our Customer Experience Team at wholesale@theveritasfarms.com.
- To be eligible for a return or exchange, wholesale customers must notify Veritas Farms within five (5) business days of receipt of the product, as determined by carrier tracking information. Requests submitted outside this notification window may not be eligible for review or approval.
- All approved returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee, in addition to all applicable shipping fees. Restocking and shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Returned items must be received in resalable condition, including all original packaging. Items that are opened, damaged, used, altered, or returned without original packaging may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
Acceptance of Product; Packaging Standards
- Wholesale products are deemed accepted upon delivery. Wholesale customers are responsible for inspecting all products immediately upon receipt and notifying Veritas Farms of any concerns, objections, or dissatisfaction within the notification period outlined above.
- Packaging features—including but not limited to seals, tamper-evident elements, closures, or other packaging formats—are provided only as expressly stated at the time of purchase. Any expectations, assumptions, or internal standards applied by the wholesale customer that are not expressly communicated to and agreed upon by Veritas Farms prior to purchase shall not constitute a product defect, nonconformity, or basis for return.
- Products that are accepted into inventory, placed into commerce, resold, or otherwise distributed
may not be returned, exchanged, or refunded due to downstream customer preferences, internal policy changes, risk management considerations, or post-sale dissatisfaction. Failure to provide timely notice constitutes acceptance of the products as delivered.
Return Eligibility Tips
To help ensure your return is eligible for approval, please note the following:
- Include all original packaging, including boxes, labels, sticker tags, and bags shipped with the order
- Ensure items are unopened, unused, and in resalable condition
- Do not ship returns outside the authorized return or exchange window
- Do not ship returns without first receiving a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and complete instructions
- Do not combine multiple orders in a single return package
Processing Time
- Approved returns will be processed within 7–10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the date the return is received at our warehouse. Once processed, a confirmation email will be sent.
- Please note that Veritas Farms is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit. Customers are encouraged to retain tracking information for all returns.
Damaged or Missing Items
- All products are tested for quality and inspected prior to shipment. Customers are responsible for inspecting shipments immediately upon arrival.
- Claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted within 72 hours of receipt. Please contact your sales representative or email wholesale@theveritasfarms.com within this timeframe so we can review and resolve the issue.
- Products will be replaced only if defective or damaged. Exchanges are limited to the exact item purchased, unless the item is no longer available.
Overstock & Discounted Products
- Products sold under the Overstock category—including items nearing expiration or products discontinued from our catalog—are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Cancellation Policy
- To request an order cancellation, please contact our Customer Experience Team as soon as possible using the Contact Us form.
We will make every reasonable effort to cancel orders prior to processing or shipment. If an order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation will not be possible. In such cases, the customer must take receipt of the products and follow the standard return policy outlined above. - Refunds will be issued only after returned products are received at our warehouse and verified to be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition.
